Most of the programs on Windows can be opened quickly using the Address bar. You can also navigate directly to a web page by entering the URL in the Address bar. This function is similar to using the 'Run' box from the Start menu (Start > Run).

How to Display the Address Bar

• Place the cursor on the task bar region as shown in the screen shot below (referenced by the mouse pointer).

• Right-click and select Toolbars > Address. The Address Bar appears.
• Double-click to display it in the task bar region as shown below.

• Open programs quickly by entering in the Address box. For example, if you would like to open the 'command prompt', enter 'cmd' in the box and click <Enter>.

• If you have more than one program, a drop-down list is displayed which makes it easy to open programs opened earlier.
